Job Overview
We are a small friendly landscaping company who work on building and maintaining garden throughout the beautiful Scottish Borders and surrounding areas. We are looking for a hardworking landscape gardener to join our team.
The role involves a mix of hard and soft landscaping, including laying of paved patio areas, stone walls and timber structures and also includes turfing, planting and general garden construction. The work is extremely varied and carried out at private homes, so attention to detail and the quality of the finish is of utmost importance.
You’ll be working as part of a small team, so a positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in are essential. Previous experience is preferred, but the right attitude and work ethic matter just as much.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general landscaping duties (planting, turfing, paving, fencing etc)
- Use tools and machinery safely and correctly
- Maintain a clean and organised work site
- Work closely with the team to complete jobs to a high standard.
What we are looking for
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Able to work outdoors in all weather.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £30,420.00-£32,760.00 per year
