Complete Aluminium Systems are looking for a motivated individual to join their team in Farnborough, Hampshire. Here at Complete Aluminium Systems, we are proud to be an approved AluK fabricator with over 30 years’ experience within the industry. We specialise in the manufacture and supply of a full range of slim-line aluminium products which include; windows, entrance doors, sliding doors, verandas, bi-folds and curtain walling for both commercial and domestic markets. The working hours are Monday to Friday between 08:00am and 16:30pm although you will be required to be flexible during busy periods.
Previous experience would be beneficial, it is not essential as full training will be given.
About the role:
Production Operator:
Is required to achieve the day to day production requirements as detailed on the production schedule under the supervision of the Leading Hand. To work with colleagues in their team ensuring the working area is kept clean safe and tidy.
Responsible for:
- Meeting the required quality standards and following work instructions written or verbal.
- Cleaning and maintaining a safe working environment
- Ensuring all manual handling (lifting, carrying) is carried out safely
- Following work instructions and if unsure check with the supervisor
- Working with the team and communicate effectively to ensure that all activities are carried out efficiently
- Inspection and checking of products ensuring the highest standards are maintained
- Working to the established production times and advising if these are not achieved
- Providing feedback and recommendations for improvements in the area or for the process
- Identifying and reporting unsafe operations and equipment
Skills Required:
- Understanding of production requirements of achieving deadlines and quality standards
- Ability to inspect and check their own work
- Flexibility across the operation to undertake work in accordance with skill set
- Ability to plan and organise daily tasks
Other Duties:
In addition to the duties and responsibilities, the jobholder may be required to perform other duties assigned to him from time to time. However such duties will be reasonable in relation to the employee’s skills, abilities, status etc.
