We’re looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Manager to take ownership of our cloud infrastructure strategy, operational resilience, and technical transformation in Leeds.
This role is designed for someone who can operate at both strategic and technical levels. You’ll work with senior leadership to shape cloud direction while leading engineers responsible for building secure, reliable, and scalable platforms.

Your Role
- Own the strategy, architecture, performance, and reliability of enterprise cloud infrastructure.
- Lead cloud operations across Microsoft Azure, AWS, or hybrid environments.
- Develop and execute cloud migration and modernization roadmaps.
- Lead infrastructure engineering teams and establish clear technical standards.
- Design and maintain highly available, resilient, and scalable cloud environments.
- Oversee cloud networking, compute, storage, identity, monitoring, and security services.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code and automation using technologies such as Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Establish cloud governance, security controls, access policies, and operational standards.
- Lead disaster recovery, backup, business continuity, and resilience initiatives.
- Monitor cloud performance, availability, capacity, and expenditure.
- Identify opportunities to optimize cloud usage and control infrastructure costs.
- Manage major incidents, technical escalations, and root-cause investigations.
- Work with cybersecurity, engineering, product, and business teams on strategic technology initiatives.
- Manage cloud suppliers, technology partners, budgets, and third-party services.
- Present cloud strategy, risks, investment requirements, and performance insights to senior leadership.
- Coach and develop cloud engineers while building a culture of automation and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring
- Significant experience in cloud infrastructure, cloud engineering, infrastructure management, or technology leadership.
- Strong experience with Azure, AWS, or hybrid cloud environments.
- Proven experience leading cloud infrastructure or engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, compute, storage, IAM, security, monitoring, and resilience.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native technologies.
- Experience leading cloud migration and infrastructure modernization programmes.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Experience with cloud cost management and optimization.
- Strong knowledge of disaster recovery, high availability, backup, and business continuity.
- Experience managing budgets, suppliers, contracts, and technology partners.
- Excellent leadership, communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS/Azure Administrator, ITIL, or equivalent are desirable.
