We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Food Truck Crew Members to join our Smash Burger team. This role involves working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment, preparing and serving delicious burgers and related menu items. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to company recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation are maintained.
- Serve customers promptly with a friendly and professional attitude, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the food truck, including sanitising work surfaces and equipment regularly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate POS systems effectively.
- Assist with stock management, including restocking supplies during shifts.
- Uphold food safety standards at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure swift service delivery.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients are required.
- Experience in kitchen operations or culinary roles is beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and stand for extended periods throughout shifts.

Pay: £12.21-£15.48 per hour
