We’re excited to share a new part-time opportunity (2 days per week) to join our Centre of Doctoral Training in Negative Emission Technologies for Net Zero (Net 2 Zero CDT) as a Laboratory Technician, based at the Energy and Bioproducts Research Institute (EBRI).
This flexible role is perfect for people who enjoy working with advanced analytical equipment, are passionate for training researchers, and want to contribute to sustainability initiatives across multiple labs. It’s a great chance to:
Develop technical skills
Support and train postgraduate researchers in lab techniques
Contribute to sustainability initiatives
Collaborate with academic and industrial partners across the Net 2 Zero consortium

This is a part-time position (0.4 FTE, equivalent to 2 days per week). We welcome discussions around flexible working arrangements and will work with the successful candidate to agree a suitable working pattern.
