Car Valeter/Driver
Malcolm Waite Limited in Sandwich are currently looking for a Car Valeter/Driver for their Valet department based at Market Hall, Moat Sole, Sandwich.
Applications for the position are invited from suitably experienced persons with a clean driving licence. Previous experience in a similar position valeting new and used vehicles to a showroom standard is required.
The successful applicant must be willing to carry out general cleaning and some basic maintenance to the company premises including showrooms, receptions, workshops, toilets and forecourts.
The main purpose of the job
- Complete valeting of new and used vehicles for both display and handover to clients.
- To hand wash/leather/vacuum service clients vehicles.
- Collection and delivery of service client’s vehicles..
- Collection of parts when required.
- Checking in new cars on delivery
- Delivery and collection of new and used vehicles
- General cleaning of premises to include showrooms, receptions, workshops and forecourt vehicles.
- Basic maintenance of premises
- Any other duties required by the directors.
Key requirements for the position
- To be impeccable in personal appearance and hygiene.
- To have had experience as a valeter in the motor trade.
- Some aptitude for DIY and basic maintenance would be useful.
- To hold a full, clean driving licence.
- To be physically fit enough to be able to perform the role.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
