Groundwork & Leisure Services Ltd is looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join our surfacing team on a self-employed basis.
We specialise in the installation of high-quality sports and playground surfacing, delivering projects across the UK for schools, local authorities, sports clubs and commercial clients. Our work includes playground safety surfacing, MUGAs, sports pitches and specialist recreational surfaces.
The role
This is a hands-on, physically demanding job working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Typical duties include:
- Installing sports and playground surfacing
- Loading and unloading equipment and materials
- Keeping sites clean, safe and organised
- Working as part of a small team on projects across the UK
What we're looking for
You will:
- Be reliable and punctual
- Have a strong work ethic
- Be happy working outdoors in all weather
- Be physically fit and capable of manual work
- Be willing to travel and stay away when required
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Hold a clear DBS check
Previous surfacing or construction experience is an advantage but is not essential. A good attitude and willingness to learn are more important.
