Run by husband and wife team Charlie and Abbi, we have a loyal customer base who come for a chat, as well as a coffee. Commonly cited as the best coffee in Borehamwood, we are a small business aiming to make a big difference to the quality of coffee people drink.
We serve specialty coffee from Origin and homemade treats made by Abbi, with a commitment to delivering coffee as the roaster intends: no syrups and no squirty cream. Our dedication to quality ensures that every customer enjoys a premium coffee experience.
Role Description
This is a weekends and events based role for a Specialty Coffee Barista located in Borehamwood as well as Barnet. As a mobile coffee truck, we’re looking for someone to work 9am - 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays with additional adhoc events.
The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving speciality-grade espresso-based drinks and teas, ensuring that each beverage meets our exacting standards. Day-to-day tasks include making hot drinks, serving food, maintaining cleanliness behind the counter, engaging with customers, and providing exceptional customer service.
Naturally, as a small business, there will be times when the barista will need to work and think independently, so being able to problem solve and make executive decisions is essential. Therefore, we are seeking someone who has experience as a speciality barista in high-traffic environments but also someone that wants to have an input on how we grow our business.
As we are a mobile truck, working outside in all weathers is part of what we do. Yes, we have a cover from the rain, but you'll need a warm coat, hat and socks!

Desired experience
Minimum 1 year full time (or part time equivalent) experience as a speciality coffee barista is essential
Strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities
Excellent Communication skills
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
A team player who's known for being on time and reliable
Resilience and adaptability is essential
Someone who enjoys the outdoors is highly advantageous due to the nature of our business
Pay: £16.00 per hour
