We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, applying basic maths skills for billing.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible serving practices at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist in restocking supplies as needed and report any shortages or issues to management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- A friendly demeanour with outstanding communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse clientele.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- A willingness to help fellow team members and contribute positively to the overall team dynamic.
