Starting salary minimum wages with the opportunity to earn bonuses.
Duties
- Safely operate the food truck, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations during deliveries and daily operations
- Prepare, assemble, and serve menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness
- Load, unload, and organize supplies in the truck, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Navigate delivery routes effectively using GPS or maps to ensure timely arrivals at designated locations
- Communicate clearly with team members and customers to coordinate orders, delivery times, and special requests
- Maintain cleanliness of the truck interior and exterior, including routine sanitation and maintenance checks
- Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and restocking as needed
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, preferably with food trucks or commercial vehicles is preferred, but not essential.
- Kitchen experience is essential. Knowledge of cooking and preparing food in a safe, clean manner.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus but not required
- Strong driving skills with experience in heavy vehicle operation and navigation in urban or busy environments
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and vehicle maintenance essentials
