Due to internal restructure we now need a Junior Office and Production Coordinator.
Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Junior Office and Production Coordinator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will support daily office operations, coordinate production schedules, and assist with administrative tasks that keep our projects running smoothly. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help ensure seamless collaboration across departments.
Responsibilities
Office
- Reception, Greeting visitors, answering the telephone, and directing calls to the appropriate team members.
- General office support - Assisting with general filing, scanning, binding documents, and basic data entry.
- Monitoring and replenishing stationery and kitchen supplies.
Production
- Creating job travelers and issuing to machine shop.
- Scheduling of workload to the machine shop and shop floor assembly teams based upon company requirements generated from Scheduled Shipments.
- Raising RFQs and sourcing of raw materials.
- Management of raw material stock levels and minimum order quantities for the machine shop.
- Ensure the shopfloor is a clean working enviornment at all times , including cleanliness, health & safety, tooling, machine upkeep including machine coolant testing.
- Completing open operations on jobs.
- Ensuring that delivery targets are achieved on time and in full.
- Active monitoring and control of on-going costs.
- Attending production meetings, in conjunction with other departments, to monitor continued progress of all open projects aligned to their target output dates.
- Monitor performance
- Occasionally driving the van to collect or drop off parts if required. (age permitting)
- Assist Operations Manager as and when needed.
- Other duties as and when defined by the Board of Directors.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
