Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing menu recommendations and upselling items to enhance the guest experience
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Ensure all food safety standards are followed during food preparation, serving, and handling processes
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations with excellent time management to deliver prompt service
- Clear tables, process payments accurately, and handle cash or card transactions responsibly
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Engage with guests professionally to answer questions, address concerns, and promote ongoing guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of serving techniques, food safety protocols, and basic culinary practices
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to multitask effectively in a lively environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Basic math skills for handling payments and managing tabs accurately
- Kitchen experience or culinary knowledge is a plus but not mandatory
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
