The Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Commercial Kitchen Fitter to join our team.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving the installation and fitting of commercial kitchen equipment, stainless steel fabrication, units and associated fixtures on construction sites and within commercial premises.
You will work as part of a team but must also be confident working independently and taking responsibility for completing work to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and assemble commercial kitchen units, stainless steel equipment, cabinetry and appliances.
- Fit and position catering equipment in accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Use a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Work from technical drawings, plans and site measurements.
- Liaise with other trades and members of the site team.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and ensure installations are completed safely.
- Carry out quality checks and rectify any issues where required.
- Keep tools, equipment and work areas clean and organised.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in domestic/commercial kitchen fitting, construction or a similar practical trade.
- Confident using hand and power tools.
- Able to read and work from drawings and measurements.
- Practical, reliable and willing to learn.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and willing to work on different sites and projects.
- Safety-conscious and able to follow site procedures.
- Professional and respectful when working with customers, clients and other trades.
A full UK driving license is essential for this position. CSCS is preferred.
We are also keen to hear from applicants with strong practical skills who are willing to develop their experience.
