Job description
The Role:
We require an experienced Working Site Manager who has previously carried out commercial building refurbishment, overseeing and supervising teams of sub-contractors on site. The Site Manager will need to be well accustomed to following a programme of works, working to tight deadlines and be Health & Safety focused at all times.
The successful Site Manager will need to be versed in all aspects of building refurbishment, from groundworks, carpentry, roofs & facades, internal fit-out, decorations and finishing. In addition, an understanding of ‘M&E’ works would be beneficial.

· Extensive experience of managing high specification and commercial building projects.
· Experience in working to tight deadlines on various sized building projects.
· Management of sub-contractors.
· Management of deadlines under supervision of the Contracts Manager
· Communicating with the client and / or project manager
· Delivering a quality finish and end product on time and to budget.
· Extensive knowledge of all disciplines involved in the construction process.
· Thorough knowledge of Health & Safety procedures.
· Excellent communication skills at all levels.
Candidate should have:
· SSSTS/SMSTS certificate or equivalent.
· Full driving licence.
· NVQ in Construction (preferred)
· First Aid qualification (preferred)
Experience:
· 5 years minimum (preferred)
· Time served tradesman would be beneficial.
Job Type:
· Full time, permanent.
· Salary: Depending on experience, plus Performance Bonus.
