We are a well established and popular cafe in the heart of Parbold village looking to recruit an integral member for our small team. The business is situated in an idyllic location and the day time opening hours of our establishment means that the head chef will be able to enjoy a great work life balance.
The Role
We are looking to recruit an experienced head chef with excellent management skills, a positive attitude and a creative, fresh approach to food and presentation. Management of seasonal menus and daily specials will feature highly as part of this role, taking a hands-on approach to the preparation and cooking of the food throughout breakfast and lunch service.
Yours Is The Earth is an independent family owned cafe with a far reaching, positive reputation. We are looking for a head chef who will maintain our high standards of cleanliness, food safety and consistent quality whilst managing a high volume of freshly prepared food.
Responsibilities will include:
- Ordering supplies and managing costs
- Running and supervising a well organised kitchen
- Breakfast and lunch menu development
- Daily specials
- Regularly updated allergen and safety records
- Hiring and training of kitchen staff when required
- Maintaining high levels of quality, safety and cleanliness throughout
- Liaising with the owners/manager
Pay: Up to £15.00 per hour
