Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations. This role requires proficiency in commercial driving and a focus on providing excellent service as a delivery driver. This Role is for full time positions that do require SOME/ALL of Weekend.
Duties
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- A commitment to maintaining a clean driving record.
