Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling various office chair components and products with precision and attention to detail. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools. The Assembler will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet quality standards and are completed in a timely manner.
Hours are 6am - 3pm Monday - Friday and overtime is available.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various assembly tasks.
- Handle heavy lifting of materials and components safely.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
- Have a flexible approach to work both in terms of hours and role - you may be asked to carry out other duties from time to time.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in assembly or a related field is preferred.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A commitment to maintaining safety standards in the workplace.
