The Opportunity
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced candidate to join our supportive and well-established HSEQ Team. We’re on the lookout for an HSEQ Assistant to join our exceptional Business Support Team. This is a varied, fast-paced, and integral office role with some flexibility of Hybrid working. As an EDP HSEQ Assistant you will actively support the HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment and Quality) Team by providing effective and professional HSEQ services across the entire EDP business.
The role is on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week over 5 days) hybrid office days and working from home as well as working flexibly.
The Role
As the HSEQ Assistant you will be based out of the Cirencester or Cheltenham office, with options to work from home. You will be required to occasionally visit our other EDP office (Cardiff).
Your main responsibilities will be:

You will manage the day-to-day administration and practical support for HSEQ matters including overseeing the HSEQ inbox and signposting the team to relevant information;

The HSEQ Assistant workload is extensive and at times reactive, but there will be more routine duties that will need to be completed on regular cycles be it weekly, monthly, yearly etc; and

The HSEQ Team is part of the Business Support Team, whose main aim is to offer that ‘Team First Service’ to the wider EDP Team. The HSEQ Team is vital in ensuring the success, health, safety, and wellbeing of our Team Members; they are our internal clients, and we need to ensure they receive the best service with any HSEQ admin tasks, queries, projects etc.
Your Skills
Of course, we’ll need you to have all the right qualifications and experience – excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. But to enjoy your time at EDP, you’ll also need to be personable, passionate, and proactive. We’re a friendly bunch but we do work hard.
You’ll need to hold a full, valid UK driving licence.
