We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and organised Event Logistics Manager to become a key member of our team.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on position combining logistics, planning, warehouse management, and event installation. You will play a vital role in ensuring every event is prepared to the highest standard and delivered seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
● Managing stock, equipment and the warehouse.
● Preparing, planning and organising décor for upcoming events.
● Cleaning, maintaining and repairing décor items to ensure they remain in excellent condition.
● Installing and dismantling event décor at venues.
● Planning, coordinating and leading team members during event preparation and installations.
● Ensuring events are delivered safely, efficiently and to the high standards expected by Love in Decor.
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
● Honest, trustworthy and dependable.
● Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
● Able to work independently while also confidently managing and motivating a team.
● Physically fit and capable of safely lifting and moving event props and decorations.
● Creative, with an artistic eye for styling and attention to detail when creating elegant and intricate décor displays.
● Flexible and willing to work evenings, late nights and weekends, as required by the events industry.
Desirable Skills and Experience
While not essential, the following would be advantageous:
● A full UK driving licence.
● Previous experience within the events, hospitality or wedding industry.
● Knowledge or experience of South Asian weddings and cultural celebrations.
Working Hours
This role offers a minimum of 15 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase to full-time hours as the business grows.
Attendance at event installations and dismantling at scheduled times is an essential and non-negotiable part of the role. Outside of live events, working hours can be agreed flexibly on a week-to-week basis, allowing for a degree of flexibility around warehouse duties and event preparation.
