We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Maintenance Advisor to join our friendly Head Office team in Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied workload, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to clients.
At ECMS, we provide facilities and maintenance services to a broad range of commercial clients. As part of our Helpdesk/Operations function, you’ll play a key role in coordinating enquiries, supporting planned and reactive works, and ensuring our clients receive a seamless experience from start to finish.

What We’re Looking For
We’re open-minded on background. However, the ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supporting clients or working in a busy office environment (preferred but not essential)
- Confidence using Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel, and a willingness to learn CRM systems
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks
- A flexible, positive, “can-do” attitude with the ability to work under pressure
- Experience in a similar maintenance/helpdesk role OR knowledge of Simpro is a bonus, but full training is provided
- Able to work well under pressure, use initiative and work to deadlines.
Key responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:
· Managing client enquiries and expectations to a high standard
· Preparing quotes and supporting Account Managers with ongoing requests
· Coordinating internal engineers and subcontractors for both reactive and planned works
· Raising purchase orders, hiring equipment/materials, and following internal ordering processes
· Maintaining accurate records in the CRM and ensuring compliance documentation is in place
· Assisting with permits to work, RAMS, and other maintenance compliance requirements
· Collating documentation for quoting, invoicing, and client communication
· Working to client SLAs, achieving KPIs, and contributing to positive client feedback
· Use a range of office software including Word, Excel and our CRM system.

Due to our rural office location with no public transport links, candidates must be able to reliably commute to our Head Office daily.
