This is a varied and rewarding field-based position, working with customers across the utilities and industrial sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs, installations, commissioning and retrofit projects on customer sites throughout the UK.
No previous experience within this specialist industry is required, as comprehensive training will be provided. Candidates should, however, possess a solid electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering background and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team.

Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance at customer sites
- Installing, commissioning and repairing specialist electro-mechanical equipment
- Conducting mechanical retrofit projects
- Completing site surveys and inspections
- Producing detailed service and repair reports
- Supporting customers with technical queries when required
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure high levels of customer service and technical support
Candidate Requirements
- Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent practical engineering experience
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical or Maintenance Engineering
- Experience within a maintenance, service, installation or engineering environment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
Additional Information
This is a field-based role covering the UK but ideally like to keep people within a fairly local patch, with an average of approximately 20 nights away per year. All accommodation costs are fully funded, with generous meal allowances provided. The role also offers excellent overtime opportunities, averaging around 25 additional hours per month.
