Who We Are
ComputerXplorers delivers exciting, hands-on after‑school clubs across Warwickshire, helping primary‑aged children build confidence and creativity through technology. Our sessions cover coding, robotics, animation, game design, 3D CAD, digital art, and more — all taught in a fun, inclusive environment.
The Role: After‑School Club Instructor / Leader
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Instructor to lead engaging tech sessions for children aged 6 to 13. Using our structured lesson plans and full training, you’ll guide students through interactive activities that make learning digital skills exciting and accessible.
Initial sessions are mainly after school (typically 3:15–4:30pm) in and around Rugby, Kenilworth, Warwick and surrounding areas, with opportunities to expand into holiday clubs, workshops, PPA cover, and sessions across Warwickshire once signed off.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver fun, interactive after‑school tech clubs in primary schools
- Teach subjects such as coding, robotics, animation, and creative technology
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Encourage confidence, curiosity, and teamwork
- Follow structured lesson plans aligned with learning goals
- Monitor student progress and keep attendance records
- Communicate professionally with school staff and parents when needed
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and take part in ongoing training

What You’ll Need
- Experience working with children aged 5–11 (preferred but not essential)
- A teaching, childcare, or instructional background is a bonus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Energy, reliability, and good organisation
- Confidence using technology (full curriculum training provided)
- Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check (essential)
- A driving licence and access to your own transport (highly advantageous due to multiple school locations)
