We are a small but successful and growing turn-key project management and consultancy company looking for someone well organised, articulate and analytical.
We have numerous projects in hand and even more in the pipeline primarily in Nottinghamshire but also Derbyshire. These range from HMO conversions to flat conversion projects and new builds. Average Project Values in the region of £50k - £800k. Given the continuing and foreseeable increase in projects, we would like another person to join us.
The ideal candidate would be comfortable:
- working hands on and helping out on site when necessary
- liaising and negotiating with main and sub-contractors
- creating, organising and managing tender documents
- managing client expectations and helping them realise the best project outcomes for their budget and return on investment
- reading, following and analysing construction drawings
- generating cost breakdowns and schedules of work
- adhering to deadlines for current projects and pipeline management
- producing and cascading inclusive weekly project reports
- organising materials and resources for site
Most desirable attributes:
- Experience leading and / or working with a project team
- Knowledge of Building Regulations
- Flexible as is appropriate
- Open and honest communication at all levels
Must have your own transport and be prepared to use your vehicle for site visits.
