About Ambipar UK
Ambipar is a global environmental and emergency response group. In the UK we operate two closely integrated divisions:
- Ambipar Response – 24/7 environmental and emergency incident response. We protect critical national infrastructure, minimise downtime to critical business activities and safely manage hazardous waste, mobilising across highways, railways, airports, ports, pipelines and industry – from oil and chemical spills and shipping incidents to fly-tipping, hazardous waste removal and natural disasters.
- Ambipar Site Services – planned and reactive industrial services including industrial cleaning, tank and vessel cleaning, waste management and site-based environmental works for clients across energy, infrastructure, manufacturing and industry.
The two divisions work hand in hand, giving clients a single joined-up environmental and industrial services partner. Whichever role you join, you will collaborate across both Response and Site Services.
Do you get genuine satisfaction from running contracts that deliver – safely, profitably, and with clients who trust you completely? Do you know how to hold a team accountable without losing them? If that’s you, we want to talk.
What you’ll be doing
Based from our Wrexham depot, you’ll own the end-to-end delivery of your contracts – planning, resourcing, client relationship and margin performance. This is a hands-on role, not a desk job. You’ll also work across Ambipar Response, cross-selling the full group offer and making sure clients see one joined-up partner.
- Hold full P&L accountability for assigned contracts – manage cost, productivity and margin against budget and flag risks early.
- Act as the primary client contact: build trusted, long-term relationships and resolve issues before they escalate.
- Plan and allocate labour, plant and equipment to meet operational demand efficiently across sites.
- Manage and develop site teams and supervisors – set clear expectations, drive accountability, grow capability.
- Engage and oversee subcontractors and suppliers on quality, compliance and value.
- Ensure all works meet the required HSE, environmental and quality standards, with RAMS in place before work begins.
- Identify organic growth within accounts and cross-sell Ambipar Response services where there is a fit.
- Maintain accurate records, forecasts and contract performance reporting.
- Provide operational and commercial input to tenders and pricing for new and renewing work.
