Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to multiple locations within designated routes. This role requires excellent organisational skills, a strong focus on customer service, and the ability to manage time effectively. Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles, including vans or lorries, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Deliver goods to various customers across multiple locations within scheduled timeframes.
- Ensure accurate loading and unloading of items, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, conducting routine checks and reporting any issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with clients upon delivery, providing excellent customer service.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and delivery times.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimise time management and fuel consumption.
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as loading goods onto vehicles and organising stock when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred.
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Organised with excellent time management skills to meet tight schedules.
- Knowledge of local roads and navigation systems is desirable.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability and responsibility in all tasks.
