Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Driver/Labourer to join our team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles for deliveries, assisting with warehouse tasks, and supporting various labour duties across our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience with heavy lifting, and excellent communication abilities to ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including <PERSON> drivers and other commercial lorries, to transport goods to specified locations.
- Load and unload items, often requiring heavy lifting and manual handling.
- Assist in organising stock within the warehouse, ensuring items are stored correctly and efficiently.
- Support with general labour tasks around the site, including moving equipment or materials as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, ensuring all documentation is completed correctly.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during operations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met before each journey.
Experience
- Proven delivery driver experience, ideally with a background in commercial driving or courier services.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence or equivalent is essential.

Pay: £12.21-£18.50 per hour
