Job Overview
Turkington Engineering is looking for a hands‑on Stores Supervisor to take ownership of our stores, equipment and asset control function at our Jessop Park site in Newark.
This role is critical to how we deliver our work from managing welding consumables and tools, to ensuring lifting equipment, rope access gear and site equipment are controlled, compliant and ready for deployment during shutdowns and outages across the UK.
You’ll be predominantly based on a compact but busy site covering stores, workshop and office facilities, working closely with operations and engineering teams to support planned work, breakdowns, and major projects.
The Stores Supervisor shall have line management responsibilities for the stores and logistics team ensuring day-to-day tasks are assigned and executed appropriately. When required (e.g. sickness absence, annual leave, training) the Stores Supervisor shall be required to cover other members of the stores teams duties such as collection and delivery of materials and equipment.
