Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Fish Auction Assistant to join our sales team. This role involves supporting the team by ensuring fish presented for the day's auction have been assessed and catalogued correctly prior to pre sale checks commencing, and during the sale provide assistance in ensuring fish purchased is allocated to the correct buyer.
Requirements
- familiarity of the Scottish whitefish sector and knowledge of fish species.
- experience of fish size and quality grading.
- a willingness to work unsociable hours in a temperature controlled facility.
- the ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast moving environment.
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
