Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Civils Gang of three to join our client’s dynamic construction team in the Northampton area. We are recruiting Dumper Driver Operatives, Ground Workers and Machine Operators, you will be an integral part of executing civil engineering projects, ensuring that infrastructure developments are completed safely,
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery such as Excavators and Forward Tipping Dumpers to assist with excavation, trenching, and site preparation tasks on the project in Northamptonshire.
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks including digging, levelling, and assembling structural components.
- Collaborate with the project team members to complete civil works efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
- Kerbing, Slabbing, Digging, Pipe Laying and maintenance work. General Civils Groundworker duties
Pay
- From £21ph to £26ph Depending on experience
- 10 hour days
- CIS Payments
Location
Must have
- Proven experience operating excavators and other heavy machinery in a civil construction setting.
- CPCS tickets for relevant plant (ideally blue CPCS tickets)
- CSCS Cards
- Groundworker track record
- Dumper truck ticket
- Machine Operator Ticket
- Highway’s passport would be desired but not essential
- Fit to work certificates would be desired
- hand tools and power tools used in ground work activities.
- First Aid (Desirable but not essential)
