Compensation & Earnings
We offer a competitive compensation structure designed to reward high-activity field sales:
Base Salary: £2,300 per month
Commission: 5% uncapped commission on all sales revenue generated within your assigned territory.
Total Earnings: Monthly Total = £2,300+ 5% Commission.
Top Performer Incentive: Exceptional sales performance may qualify you for enhanced commission opportunities. High-performing representatives generating significant sales revenue may have the opportunity to discuss an individually tailored commission structure with the Company.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Field Sales Representative for Selleck Chemicals, you will represent our brand within London’s scientific and research community. This is a highly field-focused role where you will build relationships with researchers, understand their needs, and develop sales opportunities across your assigned territory.
- Field-Based Role: This is not a remote position. Daily in-person visits to wet labs, universities, and research institutions are required to engage directly with PhDs and Principal Investigators (PIs).
- Location: Candidates should be based in the London area, ideally within a 1.5-hour commute of the assigned territory. This is also a fast-paced, field-intensive role in usual.
- Territory Development: Manage and develop a designated territory within London by identifying key laboratories, research groups, and potential business opportunities.
- Relationship Building: Build long-term relationships with scientists through proactive, in-person engagement and an understanding of their research needs, experimental timelines, and purchasing cycles.
- Customer Insights: Engage with lab managers, postdoctoral researchers, PhDs, and PIs to understand current and upcoming research needs and identify relevant sales opportunities.
- Sales & CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, needs, and opportunities in the CRM and work closely with a Senior Manager to continuously improve your territory strategy and sales performance.

- Organised & Accountable: You can independently manage your territory, maintain accurate CRM records, and consistently follow up on customer opportunities.
