Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Nursery Nurse / Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's developmental needs in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Supervise and monitor children’s behaviour, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and any relevant observations.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
- Organise daily routines including meal times, play sessions, and rest periods in a structured manner.
- Support children with personal care tasks such as toileting and dressing when necessary.
- Contribute to the organisation of nursery activities and outings, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Lead by example in promoting inclusive practices and a respectful environment for all children.
- Assist in managing nursery staff schedules, providing leadership where appropriate to ensure smooth daily operations.
Skills
- Proven management and leadership skills within a childcare setting.
- Extensive experience working with children, ideally within nursery or early childhood education environments.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and childcare best practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English, capable of liaising effectively with children, parents, and team members.
- Organised with the ability to plan activities that promote learning through play.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach towards young children.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for facilitating nursery outings or home visits when required.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene, and professionalism at all times.

Pay: £28,380.00-£32,750.00 per year
