Job description
We are looking for a charity shop sales assistant for 3 days a week (you will be required to work weekdays and weekends).
Location: Charity Shop – Raynes Park, SW20 0LA & Tooting Broadway, SW17 0SU.
Salary: £12.75 per hour.
Work days include weekends on a rota basis.
You will be working in a team with the store manager, sales assistants, and volunteers. You should be able to commute to our Raynes Park and Tooting Broadway stores.
You should be able to work:
- as part of the team as well as independently
- contributing towards maximising charity shop sales and profits
- supporting successful day to day running of the charity shop
- to represent Little Lives UK in a professional manner

Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist customers with their purchases while providing exceptional service.
- Promote the charity's mission and initiatives to customers.
- Manage sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing store environment.
- Support inventory management, including restocking shelves and tracking stock levels.
- Engage with customers to encourage donations and upselling of products.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer experience.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Proven sales experience, preferably in a retail environment.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, particularly in English and Spanish.
- Organisational skills to maintain store standards and manage inventory.
