H&H Group plc is a group of companies based in Carlisle. We operate in Auctioneering, Property and Insurance.
We are looking for a Restaurant Assistant to join our busy catering team. The café is based in the auction mart building, Borderway Rosehill, Carlisle and serves both H&H Group employees and customers.
The role will include:
- taking orders and serving food and drinks to customers as required.
- collecting payments from customers.
- clearing tables
- filling service areas with condiments, napkins etc. as required.
- assisting with the preparation of hot and cold meals, in accordance with pre-set menus as and when required.
The successful applicant will:
- Have good communication skills
- Be flexible and self-motivated
- Be able to work quickly under pressure whilst remaining calm and polite in all circumstances
- Have an understanding of health and safety regulations relating to a catering establishment
The role is offered on a zero-hours basis and there would be some flexibility in respect of hours, in particular hours could be worked at weekends and early evening to suit lifestyle.
A competitive rate of pay will be made available to the successful candidate.
