Rosebank Care Home is a small friendly and home away from home residential care home. Rosebank strives to ensure that the residents live a full and meaningful life.
We are seeking a full time Housekeeper, including working alternate weekends (both Saturday & Sunday).
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain designated areas in accordance with established procedures and standards
- Laundry - washing, drying & ironing
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and washing surfaces
- Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
- Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and common areas
- Replenishing supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
- Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Maintenance Operative
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines
Skills:
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Good communication skills to interact with residents and team members
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
