Northumbria Engineering Ltd is a well established business in Blyth with special purpose machines and serve a varied and diverse customer base.
We are looking for a time-served/ experienced CNC Miller Programmer/Operator to join our team. Experience of sub-contract work essential. Must be experienced in FANUC or HURCO machinery with the ability to program and set these machines. Will have a strong understanding of CNC programming principles and techniques, and the ability to read technical drawings. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining CNC programs for our production machines, ensuring that all parts are machined to the highest quality standards. To work a 37.5 hour week, between Monday-Thursday (7.30am start) with overtime when available. Part time hours will be considered for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse drawings to determine the best machining process.
- Write and modify CNC programs for machines.
- Perform quality checks on machined parts.
- Troubleshoot CNC programs and machines.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Train and mentor new employees on CNC programming.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Pay: £18.81 per hour
