Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Multi-Skilled Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out general labouring duties, site clearance, material handling, and operating plant and machinery where required. This role requires a strong work ethic, a commitment to health and safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general labouring duties on construction and maintenance sites.
- Load, unload, carry, and move materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Clear sites of waste, debris, and unwanted materials.
- Assist tradespeople and site supervisors with daily tasks.
- Operate plant and machinery in accordance with training and certification.
- Conduct basic checks and maintenance on plant and machinery before use.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Undertake other site duties as required.
Essential Requirements
- Valid Plant & Machinery Driver Ticket/Certification (e.g., CPCS, NPORS, or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a labouring or construction environment.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling and lifting duties.
- Ability to carry out site clearance and material movement tasks.
- Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Desirable Qualifications
- CSCS Card.
- Additional plant operator tickets.
- First Aid at Work certification.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Pay: £15.00-£19.00 per hour
