We are currently looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our Head Office team, supporting the Head of Marketing, Media and Communications in delivering a wide range of campaigns, communications and promotional activity. This is an exciting graduate opportunity for someone with a degree in Marketing or a related subject, looking to develop their skills within a busy and varied environment.
You will play a key role in increasing our social media reach by creating engaging visual and written content across our digital channels. Your responsibilities will include producing marketing materials, managing website updates, supporting email campaigns, assisting with press releases and helping to promote our programmes and events. You will also support internal communications, maintain marketing databases and digital assets, visit sites to create content and update displays and provide general marketing administrative support.
The ideal candidate will be creative, organised and confident using digital platforms, with excellent written communication skills and a keen interest in marketing. You will have the ability to create engaging content and work collaboratively across the organisation to support our marketing objectives.

Head of Marketing, Media & Communications
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
To support the Head of Marketing, Media and Communications in the day to day administration of marketing activities.
The duties and responsibilities relating to this role cover support in the following areas; general administration, social media, internal communication, company events, database management, advertising, promotions, literature, proofreading, copywriting, market research and projects.

Assist in the production of marketing materials and sales promotional literature.

Support communication via our social sites, email and website queries.
- Update, maintain and check the company website.
- Support internal communication including the preparation and collating of information for the company internal newsletter, internal events and site notice boards including posters and displays.

Database Management; responsible for the entry, accuracy and update of the data in the marketing database.
- To assist in the creation and administration of promotions & loyalty schemes, i.e. promotion of our SWIMTAG and other such technology to help increase usership.

Events; attend when required company external events and support the administration and promotion of such events.
- To increase our social media reach. Create visual content and supporting written copy, for Social Media (Facebook, Instagram and TikTok) inc photos/video/reels.

Assist in proofreading literature and the production of copy and press releases when required.

Support in the promotion of all holiday programmes at each site.

Visit sites to produce content and ensure displays are up to date.

Manage the company photo library and filing system. Update appropriately.
- Support email marketing campaigns and surveys including the use of Mailchimp.

Assist in market research and competitor analysis.

General marketing and sales administration.

GCSE in English & Maths A-C or equivalent
A degree in Marketing or a related field.
Awareness of the importance of social media
Knowledge of the leisure industry
- Experience of administration and data entry

Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to deliver a high level of customer care.
- Have excellent time keeping and organisational skills.
Ability to support and create impactive and engaging promotional ideas
