What we need:
- Good GCSEs (Maths & English ideally grade 5+).
- Comfortable with numbers and basic spreadsheets.
- Confident communicator (phone + email).
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Keen to learn and open to feedback.
What you’ll be doing:
- Build and develop a friendly, professional relationship with our clients.
- Using AI and cloud accounting Software.
- Post client invoices, bills & expenses.
- Reconcile clients bank accounts.
- Check and send supplier statements.
- Keep clients purchase and sales ledgers up to date.
- Proactively request client information and documents.
- Monitor clients email inboxes and process accordingly.
- Prepare client payment run reports.
- Prepare payrolls for review.
- Prepare clients month end reconciliations and reports for review.
- You’ll play a key part in helping clients stay organised, compliant, and confident in their finances.
- Support the Senior team members with other accounting tasks.
- Perform various office duties, like answering the phone, filing etc.
- Plus, any additional tasks that support the smooth running of the practice.
