A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Locum Dentist to join our NHS practice located in Peckham, South London on a part time basis. The vacancy is predominantly NHS with some private potential. The position is for immediate start and for 3 months with the possibility of a future role.
You will be taking over an established, well managed patient list and join an experienced clinical team, dedicated practice manager, qualified dental nurses, dental hygienists.
A performer number and experience in NHS dentistry is essential when applying for this role!
We are currently undergoing new branding and marketing to realise the massive potential. Mentoring and training is available.
Free in house CPD is available to all dentists as well as mentoring opportunities, as we have historically been a foundation training practice.
The successful candidate should have some experience in NHS and private dentistry. A performer number is essential when applying for this role.esponsibilities:
- Perform dental examinations and diagnose oral conditions
- Develop treatment plans and discuss them with patients
- Administer anesthetics and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Interpret dental radiographs and other diagnostic tests
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Collaborate with dental specialists for complex cases
- Maintain accurate patient records
