Peach Care Services Limited is a dedicated home care agency managed by passionate healthcare professionals. We are actively expanding our care family and seeking a dedicated Weekend Support Worker to deliver exceptional, person-centred care to our clients in Milton Keynes.
In this dynamic role, no two days are the same. You will champion independence for elderly clients in their own homes, as well as provide vital support to children and young adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or complex care needs.
What You Will Be Doing
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality support to clients during weekend shifts.
- Implement and accurately follow highly tailored, individual care plans.
- Assist with daily activities, including personal care, mobility support, and companionship.
- Drive or accompany clients safely to appointments, outings, or community activities.
- Maintain accurate, timely digital documentation of all care provided.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and empowering environment that promotes client independence.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and our management team.
What We Are Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Driving: A full UK driving license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle for work use.
- Right to Work: Valid right to work in the UK.
- Availability: Flexibility and commitment to working weekend shifts.
- Personality: A genuinely compassionate, empathetic attitude with a drive to make a difference.
- Skills: Strong communication skills and basic IT skills for digital care documentation.
Highly Desirable (But not strictly required):
- Previous experience in a caregiving role, particularly working with the elderly or children with SEND/complex needs.
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
- Valid Care Certificate, Safeguarding, or Manual Handling training.
