Shift: Monday to Friday 10pm-6am.
Pay: Starting at £31,116.80 per year.
Navara are recruiting for night operatives who are looking to learn new skills, develop their career and to progress within a company. Experience is not essential as full, ongoing training will be given for this role.
PLEASE NOTE - Your initial training will take place on the day shift. Once your training has been successfully completed and signed off, you will transfer to the night shift.
Production & Milling
- Operate within the oat milling process, conducting appropriate quality checks.
- Support flaking and flour production, ensuring products meet required specifications.
- Assist with the production and processing of by-products.
- Carry out quality and testing checks to ensure product compliance.
- Report any faults, breakdowns or quality issues promptly and respond accordingly.
- Work to daily production plans and achieve shift KPI targets.
Packing Operations
- Operate high-capacity automatic packing systems (25kg and 1000kg bags).
- Ensure finished product is packed, labelled and stored correctly.
- Move finished product to correct warehouse locations in a timely manner.
- Prevent stock build-up and maintain effective warehouse flow.
Warehouse & Despatch
- Load and unload vehicles safely in accordance with SOPs.
- Ensure all goods loaded/unloaded match relevant documentation.
- Store and rotate stock according to established procedures.
- Prepare warehouse orders for delivery or collection in line with schedules.
- Carry out stock counting and inventory control activities using ERP systems.
- Conduct pre- and post-use checks on MHE equipment.
- Perform yard checks and associated yard duties.
- Liaise with production and supply chain teams regarding stock and timing issues.
- Support audits, inspections and site compliance checks.
- Manage driver allocations, loading and despatch activities as required.
