Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Martial Arts Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality martial arts training programmes, fostering a positive learning environment, and inspiring students of all ages and skill levels. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging martial arts classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels
- Demonstrate techniques accurately and ensure students understand proper form and safety procedures
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and disciplined training environment
- Organise special workshops, demonstrations, or competitions to motivate students
- Keep accurate attendance records and manage class schedules effectively
- Promote the benefits of martial arts training to prospective students and community members
- Uphold the organisation’s standards of professionalism, safety, and sportsmanship at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching martial arts or related disciplines
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage learners of all ages
- Certification in martial arts instruction or relevant coaching qualifications are preferred but not essential for all disciplines
- Ability to demonstrate technical proficiency in various martial arts styles
- Enthusiastic, patient, and committed to fostering a positive learning environment
- Ability to organise classes efficiently while maintaining safety standards
- Previous experience working with diverse groups is advantageous
