MIM are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts/Payroll Administrator to join our finance team. This role is vital in ensuring accurate processing of payroll, maintaining financial records, and supporting human resources functions. The successful candidate will have experience with various accounting systems, demonstrating strong data entry skills and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities
Payroll
- Process weekly and/or monthly payroll accurately and on time approximately 60 employees
- Maintain employee payroll records and update employee information.
- Calculate wages, overtime, holiday pay, pensions, and statutory payments.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and payroll legislation.
- Manage pension contributions and payroll deductions.
Accounts Administration
- Raise and process customer invoices.
- Sub contractor invoices
- Record and reconcile supplier invoices and payments.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial procedures.
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
General Administration
- Respond to finance-related enquiries from staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Prepare reports and financial summaries for management.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
- Assist with audits and regulatory requirements as required.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in payroll and accounts administration.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
- Experience using accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
