Job Overview
UWAS & Co is a professional cleaning company based in Manchester, serving homes and businesses across Manchester (Didsbury, Chorlton, Altrincham, Hale, Bowdon and Worsley). We're looking for reliable, self-employed cleaners to join our network on a subcontractor basis. You'll be matched with residential and/or commercial cleaning jobs in your area, with flexible scheduling built around your availability.
Responsibilities
- Carry out residential and/or commercial cleaning to a consistently high standard
- Attend scheduled cleaning appointments on time and as agreed
- Bring your own cleaning equipment and products (unless otherwise agreed)
- Communicate promptly with UWAS & Co regarding availability, delays, or issues on a job
- Treat clients' homes and premises with care and respect
- Follow any specific client instructions or checklists provided for a job
- Maintain a professional, presentable appearance while working
Requirements
- Previous professional cleaning experience preferred (residential and/or commercial)
- Must be self-employed or willing to register as self-employed
- Reliable and punctual, with good communication skills
- Access to a smartphone with WhatsApp for scheduling, job updates and communication
- Own transport preferred, especially for jobs across Didsbury, Chorlton, Altrincham, Hale, Bowdon and Worsley
- Own cleaning equipment and products (or willingness to acquire)
- Public liability insurance required (or willingness to obtain before starting)
- DBS check may be required for certain clients
- Right to work in the UK
Pay: £13.50-£16.00 per hour
