Job description:
Your key duties and responsibilities will be:
- Delivering Ambient, Fresh and Frozen goods to vessels at various Quaysides
- Loading and unloading of goods using PPT and Tail lift
- Completing relevant paperwork for deliveries
- Communicating with vessels upon delivery
- Distance and overnight deliveries – Sleeping in lorry cab
- Carrying out warehouse duties if no driving role is available that day
- Flexible working pattern
- Flexible weekend working pattern
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Flexible working approach
- Class 2 licence – (Class 1 advantageous for annual leave cover)
- Updated CPC records
- ADR training – advantageous but not essential
- Clean drivers licence
- Good time keeping
- Basic food safety
- Forklift experience an advantage but not essential
- Health and safety
