We are seeking a dynamic and reliable Minibus Driver to join our team! Duties
- Safely operate the minibus, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance
- Transporting school children to school in the morning and home in the afternoon
- Driving a minibus or MPV for our Ring & Ride service
- Collecting passengers from home addresses and taking them to GP surgeries, hospitals, shops and essential appointments
- Occasional short day trips for community groups
- Communicate clearly with passengers, providing assistance and information as needed
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and vehicle condition reports
- Assist with loading and unloading luggage or cargo when necessary
- Follow safety protocols and respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies during transit
- Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or minibus driver, with a strong focus on safe driving practices
- Valid D1 driver’s license with a clean driving record (up to 3 points)
- Willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
- Willing to complete MiDAS Accessible Driver training
- Excellent communication skills in English, capable of interacting professionally with passengers and team members
