Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Workshop Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of equipment and machinery within our workshop environment. Your expertise will ensure that all tools and equipment operate efficiently, safely, and reliably, supporting the overall productivity of our operations. Duties
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on workshop machinery and tools and Hydraulic equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using appropriate testing and diagnostic equipment
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used for accountability and future reference
- Assist in assembling, calibrating, and testing new equipment or prototypes as needed
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize repair tasks and meet project deadlines
- Support inventory management by tracking spare parts and ordering supplies when necessary
Skills
- Proven experience as a Workshop Technician or similar technical role with hands-on repair skills
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, hydraulics, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Effective communication skills to clearly report issues and collaborate with team members
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards
- Strong computer literacy and experience with equipment certification software
- Driving License preferred
- Certifications such as HVAC, electrical licensing, or machinery operation are advantageous but not mandatory
