Summary
We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual to join us as part of our team in Autumn term 2026. The successful candidate will work on a full-time basis on a fixed-term contract until 31st August 2027 (to be reviewed in line with business needs of school and budget considerations).
Our Teaching Assistants make a real difference to the lives of our children in our school, by providing high quality care and exceptional support for learning activities. Integral to ensuring that our children achieve their full potential, our Teaching Assistants work closely with Classroom Teachers to secure an outstanding education and learning experience assisting with behaviour management and learning activities, liaising with families and recording pupil progress. In addition, the delivery of high-quality care, support programmes, interventions and therapies (including feeding, intimate care, physical health and behavioural), ensures that the health, safety and wellbeing needs of children are met, enabling learning and ensuring the best possible education. This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
Essential Qualifications
- NVQ level 2 or above in Teaching Assistant, Childcare appropriate to the post (or equivalent)
Desirable Qualifications
Essential Experience
- Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age -EYFS and KS1
- Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment
Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and those with SEND

- Experience of administrative work
Knowledge of classroom roles and responsibilities
