Duties
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles including <PERSON> driver and commercial trucks to deliver food orders efficiently.
- Navigate through city streets and neighborhoods using GPS or maps to ensure prompt deliveries.
- Communicate clearly with customers to confirm delivery details and provide excellent service.
- Handle food packages with care, ensuring they arrive fresh and intact while managing heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and complete all required documentation promptly.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any issues immediately.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for loading, unloading, and managing delivery schedules.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, preferably with commercial driving experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with <PERSON> driver certifications is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical activity involved in loading and unloading food orders.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with logistics operations is advantageous.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
