Nursery Manager – Flower Pots Day Nursery, Prestwood
Flower Pots Day Nursery is looking for a skilled and experienced Nursery Manager to join our friendly team at our Prestwood branch. This is joint management opportunity due to occupancy growth and capacity, we are seeking a second nursery manager to manage this site. This is a full-time position, offering opportunities for career progression through additional training and promotion within our nursery group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and safeguarding of all children at all times.
- Manage the nursery effectively, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain high standards of practice in all rooms, ensuring correct ratios, and observe and record children’s development through age-appropriate activities.
- Provide a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children, parents, and staff.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and the nursery team.
- Lead and support your team, ensuring best practices are followed and high standards are consistently upheld.
- Contribute to strategies for increasing nursery occupancy and supporting business growth.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has proven leadership and management experience in early years settings.
- Demonstrates excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare. Level 6 is desirable.
- Is passionate about child development and high-quality childcare.
